A Few Accomplishments

Projects that demonstrate my proficiency in technology

Homelab

Created a webserver using best security practices. Setup secure internal networks using a FreeBSD firewall to manage privileges and services accessible through network. Secured outward facing services using TOTP and authentication middleware.

Bronco ID Card Reader

Created an ID Card Reader that would output ID numbers to an encrypted file. This is used widely around campus and specifically in the Food Pantry as part of the CSU basic needs initiative.

P2V APPLICATIONS

Converted an aging insecure and unstable computer responsible for controlling HVAC systems into a virtual machine with the latest patches and in a High Availability cluster.

ADP Kiosks

Created clock in kiosks to replace old shared computers. Kiosks were implemented with Windows AppLocker rules to prevent unauthorized access to system.

Proxmox Virtual Environment

Containerized Applications and Provisioned Virtual Machines with best security practices and guidelines.

Web RDP Gateway

Allow clients to access internal computers from web browser using RD Gateway. Content is served through TLS and HTTPS offering a secure connection.
